​This couple could not fly out to be back to India for their big Wedding. Then, Why not a micro wedding after Lockdown in Germany?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we were unable to land on Faroe Island as expected. Thus, we changed our initial Elopement plan for H and R!

Finally we scouted out an interesting place in Germany, because we could not fly out of Germany during this difficult time. Therefore, finding a great location for the renewal of vows in the local is the best safest way for us to avoid quarantine. Our lovely couple decided to explore the beautiful National Park Harz on a late summer day with us.  At this time, we drove to National Park Harz quite easily by car. 

The Harz National Park is one of the largest German forest national parks and the first transnational national park in Germany. Besides, The Harz is particularly rich in geological formations and is therefore known as the “classic geological square mile”.

We decided to choose Wernigerode city as a main route to stay and from this city we could reach the best location to exchange the vows: Teufelsmauer Königstein, one of the most beautiful mountains near Wernigerode. There are sandstones from the Upper Cretaceous (Heidelberg sandstone), which are very hard due to their high silica content.

The journey was full of arduousness but still extremely interesting. Our couple went hiking together so high and so far to get on the top to celebrate their Elopement.

There is also the nearly 200-year-old steam train in the small town in Wernigerode.

What an interesting Elopement day full of joy and happiness with H&R. This adventure after lockdown in Germany ( 25.07.2020) with our couple is so amazing and so much splendid.
